Folio Basics

For a quick tutorial through Xtensio's editor, the folio basics will give you an overview of how to create folios and use the different building blocks in the editor - modules, canvases, sections and the toolbar.
  • Working with modules

Add content to your folios with modules. Move and resize, add a background image or color, duplicate, share, export or delete. Think of modules as a single moveable unit of your folio. You can adjust their size, customize their color, and stack them within canvases. There are a few different ways to add modules to your […]

  • Xtensio’s toolbar

Customize your content with the interactive toolbar. You can format text styles, insert images, videos, text links, CTA buttons and tables. Embed link previews, undo, redo. Your toolbar will appear at the top of your edit screen whenever you are active inside a module. Just place your cursor inside a module to activate the toolbar and […]

  • Change the folio color scheme

You can update the entire folio color scheme in just a couple of clicks. Updating the folio color scheme will update all header, graph and chart colors in the folio. This makes it super easy to customize your folio to match your branding (or your client’s). Open the 3-dot folio menu at the top right […]

  • Background image optimization

Here are tips for optimizing your images to fit in the background of a section, canvas or module. Since your folios are responsive to mobile devices and different screen size, the images will float in the background and adjust in size. When adding a module, canvas or section background, you’ll have the ability to select […]

  • Adding images to your folio

Add individual image modules or insert an image to any text module with your toolbar. Add an image caption, link image to an outside URL. There are two different ways to add images to your folios. 1. You can insert an image module via the ‘add +’ icon at the top left of your edit […]
