Embed apps and websites
With the embed module, you can integrate any website or app into your folio.
Embed any URL by selecting the embed module icon in the default toolbar state, dragging and dropping the embed module from the toolbar into the content of your folio, or by clicking the red + icon and “add module” at the top left of the edit screen. This will open a pop-up where you can add a URL and customize the image, title and description that will appear in the module once added.
- Public URLs. Paste you rurl and Xtensio will grab images, title and text from the site. As each site is different please let us know if you are having issues with a URL and our team will look into it.
- Google Maps: Paste the url of the google map page you are on or use the shortened link and we’ll populate the map in the module.
- Prezi: Paste the url of the Prezi presentation you want to embed and we’ll populate the presentation in the module.
- Slideshare: Paste the url of the Slideshare presentation you want to embed and we’ll populate the presentation in the module.
- Spotify: Paste the url of the Spotify song, playlist or album you want to embed and we’ll populate the song information in the module.
- Soundcloud: Paste the url of the Soundcloud song, playlist or album you want to embed and we’ll populate the song information in the module.
- Daily Motion: Paste the url of the Daily Motion URL you want to embed and we’ll populate the content in the module.
- Instagram: Paste the url of the Instagram post or profile you want to embed and we’ll populate the content in the module.
- Pinterest: Paste the url of the Pinterest post or profile you want to embed and we’ll populate the content in the module.
- YouTube: Paste the url of the YouTube video you want to embed and we’ll populate the video in the module.
- Wistia: Paste the url of the Wistia video you want to embed and we’ll populate the video in the module.
- Vimeo: Paste the url of the Vimeo video you want to embed and we’ll populate the video in the module.
- Twitch: Paste the url of the Twitch video or profile you want to embed and we’ll populate the video in the module.
Once you update the title, description and image you’d like to use in the module, click the “Embed” button to add the module to your folio. You can update the image after the module is added by clicking the “update image” icon on the menu at the top left of the module. To replace the title or description after the module is added, just clicking inside the text and update as needed.
Here are other things you can do with modules using the menu at the top left of each content block:
