Table of contents module
A table of contents lists the headings in your deliverable, in page order. It helps readers see what a long proposal or report covers.
Add a table of contents
- Give your sections headings. The table of contents picks up text set as a heading, for example “Our services” and “Pricing and next steps”.
- Click Table of Contents in the module bar.
- Select the new module and click Refresh (the circular arrow) on its top bar. Your headings appear as a list.

If you have no headings yet, the module asks you to add some and refresh.
Keep it up to date
The list does not update by itself. After you add, rename or remove a heading, select the table of contents and click Refresh again.
Style it
Select the module to see its top buttons:
- Title Color: pick the colour of the entries, or type a hex code and click Ok.
- Align: line the list up on the left, centre or right.
- More: Show Border, Duplicate Module, Copy Module and Copy Module Key.
- Delete Module: removes it after you confirm. This can’t be undone.
Background and Adjust Vertical Alignment work as they do on other modules; see Working with modules.
Drag the module to move it, and drag a side or corner handle to resize it.
