Project stats can help you bring visibility to how your folio is performing, both on internal edits and external view counts. On the Full Access plan, you can view basic engagement levels on your shared links. See how many views your folios are getting, how many editors are on the folio, when it was last viewed, and more.

 

There are two ways to access folios stats:

  • Select the “Project Stats” icon at the right of the toolbar in the edit screen.
  • Click the 3-dot folio menu that appears when hovering over the folio card on your dashboard and choose the “Project Stats” option.

Getting Started

Once your folios start getting views and shares, the engagement analytics feature will begin to populate with data. If you already have existing folios, you might find that some stats are already available for you to explore.

Basic Stats Overview

When you open your folio’s analytics page, you’ll first see basic stats, including:

  • Last Saved: When the folio was last saved.
  • Created Date: The creation date of the folio.
  • Edits: The number of edits made to the folio.
  • Revisions: How many revisions have been saved.
  • Password Protection: Whether the folio is password-protected.
  • Downloads: The number of times the folio has been downloaded.

Engagement Analytics

Viewing Period

You can customize the viewing period to see data for the last four weeks, set a custom date range, or view data daily, weekly, or monthly.

Key Metrics

  • Views: The total number of views your folio has received.
  • Unique Visitors: The number of unique visitors.
  • Average Time Spent: The average time visitors spend on your folio.
  • Average Completion Rate: The average percentage of the folio viewed by visitors.

Detailed Section Analysis

For a more granular understanding, the analytics feature breaks down the engagement for each section of your folio. You’ll see:

  • Time Spent Per Section: How much time users spend on each section.
  • Section Views: The number of times each section has been viewed.

Geographic Data

The feature includes a map showing the geographic locations of your visitors. Clicking on any location dot will provide a list of visitors from that area.

Device Breakdown

Understand which devices your audience is using:

  • Desktop: The percentage of views from desktop users.
  • Mobile: The percentage of views from mobile users.
  • Tablet: The percentage of views from tablet users.

Clicks and Click Rate

Track how many times elements within your folio are clicked and understand your click-through rate (CTR):

  • Total Clicks: The total number of clicks.
  • Click Rate: The percentage of views that resulted in a click.

Visitor Details

Get detailed insights into individual visits:

  • Anonymous Users: See data on visitors who are not logged into Xtensio.
  • User-Specific Data: For logged-in users, you can see their names, total views, time spent, and actions taken within the folio.

Notifications and Data Collection

To enable these stats, turn on link sharing for your folio. You’ll receive notifications the first time someone views your folio and at various intervals thereafter.
