Background image tips

Your deliverables adapt to every screen size, so background images are cropped differently on a phone than on a laptop. A few tips keep them looking good:

• Use images up to about 1920 pixels wide. They stay sharp on large screens without slowing the page down.
• Keep the important part near the centre. Edges may be cropped on narrow screens.
• Choose calm images behind text, or use a colour, so the text stays readable.
