Background image optimization
Since your folios are responsive to mobile devices and different screen size, the images will float in the background and adjust in size. When adding a module, canvas or section background, you’ll have the ability to select the portion of the image you want to show depending on the amount of content within the element.
Here are a couple of tricks to help you get the back placement in the background:
- Set the width of your image at 1920px max. This is a good size for your image to look sharp on high-res screens.
- Use row breaks or blank text modules to add extra space to your section, so that the full height of your image is visible.
- Compress your images prior to uploading, for faster load time. Here’s a tool you can use for lossless compression.
Aside from background images, you can also add images to your folio inside individual image and text modules.
